What We Believe

God is bigger, better and closer than we can imagine

God’s love for us is beyond our comprehension and was demonstrated in Christ by His willing sacrifice for our sins.

The Bible is God’s divine guidebook for living and irrefutable truth.

Jesus is God showing Himself to us.

Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through those who know Him.

Nothing in creation “just happened”; God made it all.

Everyone in the world has been born into sin and has fallen short of God’s standard for holiness and righteousness.

Faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior is the only acceptable payment for our sins and our only hope for this life and eternal life with God the Father.

God has allowed evil to provide us with a choice, God can bring good out of evil events, and God promises victory over evil to those who choose to receive His son – Jesus Christ.

Death is a beginning, not the end.

Life is a test of trust and is temporary. Trials and difficulty are part of life on this earth, but in Christ, the world and death have been overcome.

Abundant life is not a “pie-in-the-sky” ideal but a promise from God.

The Church is the Body of Christ and is commanded to love people like Jesus loved people.

As believers who have trusted their life to Christ, we each are commissioned to tell others the Good News of what Christ has done for us.

Jesus is coming again.
