Love your neighbor. Serve your city.

PursuitMissionsLogo Beyond blank

"Reach Out" represents the mission efforts of The Pursuit Church throughout northern Colorado and the world. We partner with various non-profit organizations that are making an impact far outreaching what we can do on our own. It’s all about mobilizing the people of Fort Collins, Larimer County, and beyond to partner together towards a common goal: To make a difference in our city, throughout our county, and out into the world.

McKinney Backpack Project

The McKinney Backpack Program buys food from the Food Bank for Larimer County and provides items that can be used to create a nutritious meal for needy students. Volunteers meet every Thursday morning at First Presbyterian Church to pack grocery bags with food items. After delivering them to local schools across PSD, these students take home the backpacks with two meals' worth of food for the weekend.

Homeless Gear

The mission of Homeless Gear is a simple one: Collect unwanted Outdoor Gear (packs, sleeping bags, tents, tarps, etc.), Outdoor Basic Clothing (coats, rain gear, boots, etc.), and Hygiene Products & Re-distribute these items to the homeless.  We want to make the days more bearable and the nights survivable for homeless adults, youth, and children.

Christian Challenge

This ministry at Colorado State University to college students and young adults is geared toward knowing Christ, growing in Him, showing His love, and going into the world to proclaim His good news. This is achieved through discipleship, worship, ministry opportunities, and fellowship.

Serve 6.8

Serve 6.8 (based on Micah 6:8 and Isaiah 6:8) is all about people serving our community to demonstrate God's love in tangible ways to people in Northern Colorado with no strings attached. God has a plan to transform our communities and has called SERVE 6.8 to be His hands and feet in Northern Colorado. Their vision is to create significant and lasting positive change in Northern Colorado by expanding and enhancing the impact of community and faith-based organizations.

With this mission and philosophy in mind, Respite Care strives to create an interactive, stimulating and safe environment that addresses the physical, emotional, social and mental needs of each individual child.
